OPERLY Phono 1.0
The OPERLY Phono 1.0 Preamp amplifies MM and MC record players with high-quality MC step-up transformers.
It features separate MM and MC inputs, with a powerful 6N6P tube buffer for dynamic sound and structured bass.
The preamp has a high gain of 48dB (MM) and 65dB (MC) and uses transient foil capacitors, Nichicon "Muse" electrolytic capacitors, and gold-plated Neutrik RCA connectors for quality sound.
It consists of a three-stage phono stage, with direct phono-correctors on 6SL7 and 6SN7 tubes, and a galvanic connection between stages.
The preamp's power supply employs a kenotron with LC filters for improved sound characteristics, and meticulous component selection ensures accuracy and performance.
On the front panel, there's a "POWER" switch, "LP/CD" switch, and company logo indicator; while the rear panel includes inputs for MM and MC, CD-player, and line output "OUT".
Additionally, you can connect a CD, DVD player, or DAC to the "CD" input to add "tube colouring" and enhance sound quality.
The OPERLY Phono 1.0 Preamp significantly impacts the sound quality by utilizing high-quality components and design features. The inclusion of high-quality MC step-up transformers enhances signal amplification, resulting in improved clarity and fidelity in sound reproduction.
Additionally, the separate MM and MC inputs allow for versatility in accommodating different types of record players, ensuring optimal performance regardless of the setup. The powerful buffer on the 6N6P tube further contributes to the sound dynamics, delivering a more dynamic and structured bass register.
Overall, these design elements work together to produce a rich, detailed, and immersive sound experience for the listener.
